Once upon a time I (Ulf Rupprecht) had the need to use digital Lego models created
with the Lego Digital Designer (LDD) in existing LDraw tools. But these models are there in the
lxf file format designed by Lego witch is not compatible with the LDraw
file format.
So I wished for a converter that can tranfere files from the LDD to the LDraw universe.
I posted my request in the Lego group of the (german) social network
XING and
after a few posts Rolf Osterthun agreed to implement such a converter (give it a try/ for fun).
We decided to originate these webside to present you our results. The both of us will fill this fan webpage with information about the converter and miscellaneous things all around the digital bricks.
We appreciate any suggestion, comment or help.
